I just got my new ipod and hooked it up w/ itunes. I accidently loaded all of my songs in my library to the ipod and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to delete them all. Is there a simple way to do this?

-Thanks

Isn't it just a case of what's in your playlist will be synced to your ipod ?

Click the wheel three times, while repeating the following phrase:

"There's no place like home."

I don't think anyone here on ATOT is for partial/full song deletion.
Unless those songs were forcefully loaded upon your Ipod against your will, I believe you should just listen to the songs, or have them transfered to something else.
But to delete a fully uploaded song, that's just sick in my opinion.
Don't take the easy way out. You made a mistake, but that doesn't mean the songs should have to pay for it.

Just be sure that if you decide to delete them all, go to a state-authorized clinic. Back-Alley memory wipers are incredibly dangerous. You never know what kind of viruses you can pick up in those situations.

I only believe in song deletion up to 3 gigs. It's his ipod and it's his own choice.

Have you ever seen how they delete unwanted songs? It's wrong. You can't just go around deleting whatever unwanted songs you have. You made a choice to upload that song. It's just wrong.

What about the songs? They yearn to be heard...but they are silenced.

I was going to suggest giving it a bath.

The other posts are far more witty.

I humbly withdraw my suggestion.

What if someone used his iPod without his approval? What if it was a forceful upload? Is it his fault that none of the music on it is wanted? Why should he have to endure the burden of bad music?

Or what if he knows that all the music on it is retarded? You can't fix a retarded song! You kinda have to ask yourself if you know that a song is retarded, is it even fair, to the song or the listener, for it to exist at all?

This isn't the case. As stated he uploaded this music. Now he wants to delete it. It wasn't a forceful upload.
The burden? Ha! If he didn't want "the burden" of bad music, he should have controlled himself and used better judgement. He should have been more careful. He uploaded these songs.
And so what if the music has a couple of skips in it from a bad download? It's still your uploaded song. And you should love it like you would love any other song.
