How can I connect a HTTP proxy to the 1080 socks protocol ?

I know there used to be a way to do that...on IRC for example I have used a program that tunnelled my http proxy so the programs using it were "tricked" as if it was a socks proxy... if you could tell me a program of that sort or a way to do that I would be very greatful...ty

Do you want to surf using a socks proxy, or are you trying to chain a socks proxy with an http proxy?

You can try using sockscap. It is free to download. There is also a program called sockschain.
