How can I completely remove all my ATI drivers/software?

I have been having tons of problems with my ATI Radeon 64 mb ddr card with games. With most of my games I get skewed lines in the picture. If the character in the games is standing still, all look fine, but when you move, parts of the picture/textures skew and distor for brief seconds (continuously). I have tried tons of various drivers and BIOS settings for my ASUS A7M266 board. Any other ideas? I would also like to try completely removing all traces of ATI software from my computer. How can I do this in windows xp pro?

weird it didn't post anyhoo. I would do the following:

1. Download and install regcleaner.
2. Go to the ad-remove programs area and remove your ati drivers.
3. Boot up in safe mode.
4. use regcleaner to locate all ATI registry entries.
5. delete registry entries.
6. reboot.
7. install drivers.
8. enjoy :)

Uninstalling the drivers from the control panel and searching for "Radeon" and "ATi" registry keys and files will usually do the trick.

Follow the advice from Tates. I am thinking of writing a script soon which automatically does the steps advised on the Rage3D forum.
