how can i check my video card temperature?

i just find out my ati 9800 pro's fans is dead for 2 days. i was surprise how well it handle all the heat without the fan. i replace with my old CPU fans. it is runing cool for now.

is any software that i can use to detect the temperature? or i can checking my own computer?

9800pros have no temp sensors unless it's based no a 9800xt pcb, at whichh point you'll need a bios flash to unlock the ability to use it.
