I got in on a really hot deal on a 17" LCD (280 AC/AR) at staples today. but it's supposed to be very poor for games and whatnot. i'm not much of a gamer and only need it for office type stuff so i dont particularly care. but in the short time ive been using it it's been really really good.

is there a place i can take a definitive test of its "ghostingness"?

btw it's a "Pixo AT700S"

Why not just use it for a week or so. See how you like it.

If you don't game...you're fine

Open up a win explorer screen and drag it around the desktop as fast as you can. If you don't see any parts of the window trailing it, it should be a decent monitor. Also if you do a search there is a site that you can goto and check everything from dead pixels (white and black) to the ghosting.
