How can I caputre live video?

I'm trying to get videos from the internet onto a CD. I can't do the "Save target as" method. How can I go about this? I was thinking of useing some type of software that just records everything I'm doing on the comp than edit the clip to show just the video in the screen. ANy ideas?

If you want the video link so you can downlaod it go to the pages source(ctrl+u in firefox) then go to search to document for a word( ctrl+f in firfox) then searchd .wma,.avi.mp3...ect then when it finds it highilight the link inbetween the " maraks (EX: "www.video.com/test.avi" then get some donwloader and download the video.

Try a prog called Net Transport. Works well for me.
