How can I capture Video In?

I have an old Radeon with video in. I tried using ATI's video in, but it can't record (it shows sound and picture fine) for some reason. Is there another such program? Or a program that can record from onscreen video players?
 
DScaler just crashes (quite badly too). I tried 3 different driver versions and finally ATI's worked, for some reason.
