how can i cancle my screen name and delete my profile?

i have 2 screen names for Anandtech i used 1 for work and the other for home, then i decided it would just be easier to use one name and change the email address in my profile to which ever place I am. So how do i get rid of one of my screen names and profiles. It wont let me chang the email because it says the email address i want to chang to is already in use by another user, so i want to delete the other name so i can free up the email address

Login the name you don't want to use. PM the mod, or email him at moderator@anandtech.com

You could log in under the name you no longer wish to use, and change the email to something else (need not be a real e-mail address if you are certain you'll not want that account any longer), then the e-mail you wish to use will be freed up.
