How can I call CANADA?!?!?!

I am at work and need to talk to someone in Canada, if i type in the numbre 1-(***)***-**** it gives up before i finish like it doesnt realize i am typing in the area code. (normal US area codes work with it)

I could use my cell phone, but I assume Sprint would charge extra for a call to canada. Am I right in assuming this?

Get a calling card or sign up with Bigzoo or Onesuite. Calling direct from your cell phone is expensive. They might charge like 20-30 cents a minute. If it's short, I guess it's alright.

Stupid question time 🙂

Is it a work phone? Do you usually dial 8 to get long distance? If so don't add in the 1 at the beginning.

If you think they're uppity now wait until they get a boat.

You can't call Canada. It's a part of the Patriot Act. You try to call us, George Bush will personally hunt you down. That's freedom for ya! 😀

LOL - now everyone around me is looking at me funny for laughing out loud all of a sudden (quiet night on graveyard). I'm going to have to use this as an excuse the next time I have to call our Canadian users.

When I had to call Canada from my cell phone, I'd just dial the area code+number (604.xxx.xxxx) and hit call. Then you get the phone bill and realize how dumb it was to use your cell phone for a call like that (unless your job will reimburse you for it).

Which you need if you got a toboggan.

one day, the canadians figured they should have their country in initials just like USA.

They knew a local bigfoot hairy guy who claims that he was from CND.
They figured "hmm that sounds just as cool as USA"
One folk forgot the initials and asked the town "what's the spelling again?"

in which they replied "yer.....here. C eh, N eh, D eh"

and that's how canada became to be.

That is funny...

So many bleeding hearts coming out. It is so funny when they ask what their country can do for them not what they can do for their country. This was a famous line for a well known democratic president yet most democrats do not look at it that way. Always pointing a finger. HA awesome. I love election years morons from both sides make stupid remarks about one party or another or the current leader.
