how can i burn a dvd that has a picture slideshow?

Doesn't Nero have something like that built in? Though I think there's a limit to how many pics you can do.

here is a free one, but you will need this and this for it to work.

Basically what you need to do is scan your images and then use a program to convert them to mpeg2 for authoring on DVD. Once the photos are converted, you can then burn it directly to DVD OR you can take the file and reauthor it and add menus if you wish.

There are others here but they are trialware.

I have used VSO Pro Show and everything I have used it for turned out well. I just used TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to add in menus.

I have used Arcsoft DVD Slideshow for two years. I have tried Roxio and Nero - but Arcsoft is intuitive, simple, and creates a terrific product with MP3 music in background, titles, animation, audio, transition effects, front end menu, etc. The product plays perfectly on home entertainment systems that have DVD players.

It's not free, but at $50 it's well worth it.

Great, looks loads better than Nero.

DVD Santa. You can do that and put it all to music. Plus with the music it will figure out what time to make each pic stay on the screen so it will go throughout the entire song from begining to end. Also not to metion Santa does even more then slide shows 😉
