How can I backup Civilization 3??

How can i make a backup of this game??...ive made about 20 damn coasters trying to burn a copy....i use a Plextor 8x4x32 if that matters

ehh.. 20 coasters? you'd think at some point.. 3 or 4 maybe... you'd stop burning and figure out what was wrong.

danny made a suggestion. why don't you try it and come back and let us know if it doesn't work.

IMO, if cloneCD can't duplicate it, you're SOL.

game is safedisc protected, your burner somehow doesn't burn safedisk. just copy the cd manually and use a no cd hack:p


and yes i backed mine up at 24x baby! clonecd does work *rubs it in enragedpc's face*

what do u mean just copy it manually??...like drag everything to a folder then burn from there?

OK I was under the assumption that Disscusion regarding BACKUPS was taboo here due to the way that information could be used!

Why bother with Civ3 when the original Civ & Civ2 are much better games.

I own all 3 editions and all add-on for Civ2, and I found Civ3 game strategy is weak compare to the older siblings. The control panels are poorly layout for quick manipulation. I was hoping Civ3 have better preference settings and more hotkeys, but the damned designers didn?t put any effort making it a better gaming experience except for slightly modification of the layout and icons.
