How can I assign shortcuts to my Logitech cordless keyboard?

Hello,

I have the Logitech Cordless Desktop, which includes a cordless Mouseman optical, and the Cordless Keyboard. It has many multimedia keys on it, all of which work with J. River Media Center or WMP 11 under XP. There are number of additional keys such as iTouch, Search, Shopping, Favs, and My Home. They all mostly work as well, pulling up various web sites (the iTouch key does nothing, ever since I uninstalled the iTouch software).

I do not have the Logitech iTouch software installed. I don't want to use it because it adds too many features I can't get rid of. For instance, as it is now, if I hit the button labeled Media, it launches J.River Media Center, exactly what I want it to do. If I install the Logitech iTouch software, then it comes up with every single media program I have ever had installed with no way to get rid of them, forcing me to pick J.River from the list. Not a big hassle I know, but not what I want either. I have also found that the key assignments under iTouch interfere with some games, which is annoying. Everything works much better without iTouch.

What I want to do now is to assign one of the extra keys I never use (such as the iTouch button), to a little LCD panel shutoff Widget called MonitorOff. The idea is to have one-key LCD shutoff. I can't seem to figure out where the sites assigned to the extra keys are stored. I have searched the registry, and I get matches for my sites, but only via Favourite folders and such.

Does anyone know of a little app, or a method to assign the extra Logitech buttons to specific shortcuts?

Thanks,
BM.
