Hi, my notebook NEC Versa S900 has Infrared but i don't know how to activate it.

under device manager, i don't see a IrDA property.

How can i enable it?

thanks

i can't find anything related to IrDA.

by the way, i can't find a way to over or underclock

I'm not familiar with NEC laptops but like Dell laptops you can enable and disable devices in the BIOS. If you disable it in the BIOS your OS won't detect it.

Device manager is probably not the solution.
Windows by default detects and enables IRDA.

My Dell Latitude came with the IRDA disabled, and had to be enabled from within the BIOS. Dont know about NEC though..

Read the User Manual/Try calling Tech Support!!
