Ok here is the situation. I have an HP2215 (windows mobile 2k3) and I am trying to access a network share via a compact flash 802.11b card.
I am running an a windows domain with AD using an IP address range of 192.168.1.xxx, I then have a wireless router connected to another router configured to run in bridged mode. The wireless router uses an IP range of 192.168.8.xxx and is configured as a DHCP server with the gateway and DNS IP's set to the primary router and the DNS server respectively.
When I try to type in the share path I get a, "network path not found" and a, "network resource cannot be found or you do not have permission to access the network" error messages. I know the share has full permissions for everyone enabled and I can access the share from another win2k machine that is also attached to the wireless router.
From the pocket pc I can access the internet and even use terminal service to log into the computer the share is on, however I can only logon by specifying the IP address of the terminal server and not by computer name.
What am I doing wrong or what is the problem?
