how can I access my AP admin page?

I upgraded my Linksys WRT54G with Sveasoft. I was able to setup WDS with my Buffalo WBR2-G54.

Cable Modem -> Linksys WRT54g 192.168.1.1 <- WDS -> Buffalo WBR2-G54 (? IP)

I'm able to connect to the internet and transfer files. But my question is, how can I get to adminstrator page of the Buffalo. Before I converted to access point, I can get there by http://air.setup/ or 192.168.11.1

Does access point has an ip?

it depends on how you set it up. did you put the MAC address into the WDS settings in the linksys?
get the MAC address of the buffalo and see if it shows up as a DHCP client of the linksys.
It is on a label on the bottom of the buffalo.
match that MAC addy to the assigned IP.
go to http://<that IP> without the <>
that should get you in.

I did use MAC address to setup WDS. Everything is working correctly. I used DHCP on the Linksys and disabled DHCP on the Buffalo. I did NOT see the buffalo in the Linksys DHCP table, however, I do see my other PC and wireless laptop. They all have 192.168.1.xxx ranging from .100 to .120

I use a freeware "SoftPerfect Network Scanner v2.4", it did detect 192.168.1.255 without a host name. I assume this is my Buffalo repeater. I try going in as http://192.168.1.255 but with no luck. But I can ping 192.168.1.255, Is there another way to access my buffalo without disconnecting from my network and resetting it to mfg default? Thanks.

This is strange since Buffalo maintain the page: http://air.setup/ regardless of what is the IP address.

Which means that there is misconfiguration between the WRT54 and the Buffalo.

Try using the .2 address, that is what is usually recommended in WDS setups.
.255 is the broadcast IP, an integral part of the network. That is not the buffalo.

That air.setup will only work when the buffalo is the gateway. Otherwise, there would be no way to resolve that, short of making a hosts entry.

The next logical thing to do is reset the buffalo to factory defaults using the reset switch and instructions.

Hook a computer up to it, release/renew and get an IP from the buffalo. go to the setup page. configure it like you did before, with one exception.
make sure to asssign it a local IP, and write it down somewhere. I tend to use .2 for the second device after the gateway.
