How 'bout them Red Sox!

Last night it was Kevin Millar. 9th inning, 2 outs, 2 strikes = 2 run homerun, SOX win 3-2!
Today it was Jason Varitek. 9th inning, 1 out then 2 run home run, SOX win 6-5!

21-13 now without Wells or Schilling. This has gotta suck for you Yankee fans. You win 5 straight and gain nothing on the Sox.

It's early, but it's sure looking good for the Red Sox.

And the yanks are about ready to win their 5th in a row. suck on that redsox fans.

Actually the Yankees did gain 1/2 game after the split on Sunday.

Just another reliever the Sox can hit. Foulke must have just wanted a win instead of a save.

I believe I mentioned that in my OP. Did you only read the title? Yanks gained a single game during said streak, and over the past 10 games have lost 3 games on the Sox.

The Sox are playing like the champs that they are. Coming through when it counts.

Dotel sucks, let's be honest. Yeah, the Sox won both of these hitting homers off Dotel, but let's not forget that Foulke also blew two consecutive saves to the A's.

Yea, talk about a vulture win. 🙁 Foulke is seriously sucking atm, but it's really not hurting the team much. They bail him out a ton.

Dotel does suck, I'd admit it. And Foulke did blow that save big time. However in the Oakland series, Foulke only pitched in today's game, so two consecutive blow saves is off.

Foulke had turned it around in Detroit. I'm no more worried in Foulke than Yankee fans are with Rivera.

My bad, it was not two consecutive games.

Rivera is FINE. He didn't throw in the winter for the first time this year so he was shaky right at the begining of the year. He's fine now.

This thread should read "How about Octavio Dotel".

speaking of bad relievers, how bad is Steve Kline? It seems that every time I turn on Sportscenter I see him getting lit up or blowing a late inning lead. The Cards need to get rid of him ASAP
