I posted this in GH but almost noone responded, prolly cuz I didn't put it in the title but here goes again:
How 'bout a weekly 'zine? A real ink & paper one? People can come to the site and print it out or have it emailed to them.
I thought of this cuz I debate/help the people I know at work and the such all the time on computer issues and I think it would be cool to have a kind of newsletter with the past weeks top storys/news/reviews I could leave in the cafeteria, hang from bulletin boards, etc. We could start sending them to people (maybe) leave them in doctors offices, maybe even have a subscribership!!! Us hardcore Anandtechers' could come to the site, print a bunch out and leave stacks of them places (with permission, all legal 'n' stuff mind you) for people to pick up & read. Could even include a buyers guide section once a month, biweekly, whatever...
Whaddya think? I think it would be cool, we would just have to get permission from the boss and someone would of course have to be the one to do put it together every week...
I think it has some merit!!! Would definetly boost membership!!
