how bout 2.6c 800 cpu w/ pc2700 memory ?

what kind of performance hit should i expect?
and what memory will be consider adequate/in sync (pc3200, pc3500 etc?)

If you want to run in sync, you're gonna need at least PC4200. But, you're gonna get a very nice OC using low-latency PC3200, and running the memory either 4:5 or 3:2. That's the way most of the people around here run their P4C's.
