Heh. I have about 130 gigs of pirated korean dramas on my computer alone. Why shell out $100+ bucks per drama when I can download them for free?

yebb.. good example, I have downloaded dead like me episodes through torrents since the show started (didnt start to show here untill a few months ago). Torrents provide excelent quality, and now I have ordered Season1 on dvd and I'm thinking that the quality will be worse than the 350mb episodes I downloaded.

I think they know what we want. They just don't know that most people are willing to pay for it. They are totally stunned by all this new technologies and can not see the solution even if it is right there in front of them.

They run around crying "Sue them! Sue them!". The music industry tried that. It did not work. So it is truly amazing that the only trick the movie industry can pull is the same "sue-them-strategy"....

It shouldn't even be necessary for it to be a paid service. They can just make you provide specific demographics for highly-targetted advertising. As of right now, advertisers already pay large amounts to hopefully reach the target audience.

Excellent comic drawing.

It's hilarious how moronic media production companies are...they just don't seem to get it.

They could be using the internet to their advantage; making millions, yet nope...that'd be too smart to do...
