40mb Hyundi 16 MHz 386.
Bought from a yard sale for 50 bucks..
didn't even have a 3.5" floppy.

My first harddrive was a western digital 100Mb

I also used cassette tapes for my TRS-80 supercomputer! Also had 16K RAM and ran at a blazing 1.77 MHz.

Well, yes, when I first got my C=64, it was with a cassette drive. Disk drives and hard drives came later. ;)

867mb if i recall correctly, this was one of those old old monitor + computer in a box types.

My next step up which was some compaq had 18gb i think w/ windows 95. I was rocking it hard

my first 2 pc's didnt have harddrives :(

i really learned to hate loading apps from tape.

20MB drive that was like a coaster for a MacPlus. I don't even want to know how much it was per MB....

my first hard drive is.. 40MB.... I had mine so longgggg time agooo... i wonder where is it now.. -__-;, but my first pc don't have a drive on it back then.. *sad*

500 MB drive that came w/ (yes, I know...Horrible...) Packard Bell (Gosh I hate typing this) that I bought way back when...Fate would be on my side w/ this POS, as the HD crashed after a week...So, I returned it & never looked back...

40MB Conner in my Magnavox 386SX 20Mhz PC, running GeoWorks Ensemble and AOL 1.0! I remember my dad buying it because it was one of the first PC's with a VGA monitor.

Don't remember the brand, but it was about 800mb which just fit windows 95 and had about 200mb maximum free. Needed 400mb for Half-Life when it came out, boy did that suck.

Seagate MFM 40MB full height 5 1/4" drive. Sounded like a coffee grinder. :Q

The 30MB ERL drive had a strange noise when seeking like a slinky banging against a mirror. When it developed a bad cluster it would sound like a miniature gearbox meshing. hehe
