Techpowerup did a review of it recently and apparently it is shorter than the previous silencers but a little bit taller than a stock X1800XL heatsink

The dimensions are: 152(L)x90(W)x30(H) mm

I think your out of luck... the review states almost right at the end that the cooler only fits onto x1800's. Wait for the cooler to be reviesed for NV cards if you really want it.

potato28: I think the Accelero X1 is for the NV cards and the X2 is for the ATi cards. But that's just what I think.

the x2 is for ati and x1 is for nvida

Yeah it's sort of same as NV silencer vs. ATI Silencer . . . same design but for different cards . . .
