well the carpenters were here earlier today to put in some new doors etc. Anyways the doors were too big so they had to saw them. Bad thing is that the door is right next to my bed and all three of my computers. Anyways I leave and comeback only to find saw dust and little chips of wood laying everywhere. On my bed, underneath it, saw dust on my computer and big pieces of wood chips laying by the base of my computers. I'm gonna explode because I'm getting all itchy right now and though I do have a spare sheet I don't have spare blankets etc. and the top of my monitors looks like it's gonna be clog with this crap. @#@#$% Anyways should I be sleeping somewhere else cause I know this stuff is floating around as I speak. thx :)

Although it isn't the best thing to breathe, it takes repeated exposure for any damage in most cases. You may be alarmed when you blow your nose, though! :p

Shouldn't hurt the computers, but you could use it as an excuse to clean the fans...

If you have filters on the intakes, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Not that you have that much to worry about to begin with. As for you health, it's like coal mining. One trip down won't kill you, but a couple hundred will. (or something like that)

Wood dust is a known carcinogen.

The back half of my wife's office is leased out to a guy that does custom woodworking. I have her bring the computers home every three months so I can blow them out with compressed air.

Between the wood dust, and the pet hair from the office cat and the office dog, it's amazing they run at all.

The first time she brought them home, the oldest machines power supply was so full of wood dust that you could not identify a single component inside it. Everything was buried under a thick layer of the stuff. I should have taken a picture.
