I just ran 3DMark2001 on my computer:

Abit BE6-II with Celeron 1gig, 100Mhz FSB
384 Crucial RAM (One 128meg PC100 stick and one 256meg PC133 stick)
Voodoo3 2000 PCI vid card
Seagate 13gig Baracuda ATA-66 HDD

Is the 1086 score on this type of system bad? Is there a way I can compare the results to something meaningful?

Also, I just got the Visiontek GeForce3 Ti200 AGP card. Would I expect that the results will significantly increase with the new card?

Thanks, Aaron

Register with Madonion and use their online browser results. It will show how your setup compares with others who either:

Have the same CPU

and

Have the same video card.

I'll assume you mean a Ti200 Geforce 3 card. The new card compared to your old voodoo card would be like comparing a Dodge Viper to a Ford Escort.

Yup, stick your new card in and run it again. IMHO, the only meaningful results are obtained by comparing changes to your own system. You can use the online browser to get an idea what similar systems get for numbers.
