How are your stocks doing?

Major indexes have been on a pulling higher and higher this past week. I started my account in June 2002 and now I'm up about 35%. However, it's been a little scary as I've been down 20% at some points. My only regret is not putting in more money into stocks when I could have.

How is your portfolio looking?

You better fire your broker then or stop pick your own stocks. Down a bit from 99-2000 but not 80%.

Lets just say i bought it at over 40 and its currently selling for ~10.

I'm sure they'll go back up. At least, that's what I'm betting on. I doubt they'll go back up to the March 2002 levels though.

They may, but if finally looks like Biotech's are getting the bumps many expected 3 years ago.

My stock is finally back trading again...yay! It had disappeared into nowhere land for a while! Needs to be much much higher though...just sitting and waiting patiently.

My stocks are doing pitiful. I've been long since 99 and it ain't pretty.

I have an ex coworker who put $25,000 into Enron when they started to have problems and their stock crashed. His reasoning was "They are such a big company, they won't go out of business or be delisted." He thought it was a good opportunity to jump in. He had done this with other struggling companies and evidently done alright.

Well, they didn't go out of business but their stock is now worthless and did in fact be delisted. He lost almost all his $25,000.

Shortly after that he ended up being laid off from his job. Poor guy.

Genentech has made a couple big jumps lately. I bought Amgen; it's doing pretty well. But, I'd watch for Biotechs. I heard they might be the next "bubble."

Ha, I told my dad to invest in Worldcom when they were at 5 cents per share, but he was a big pussy and didn't invest till they were 10 cents. Then I told him to hold on to it, but he sold it at 15 cents. Now it's 40 cents each. Argh, I wish I had money back then...

Yeah well... I had money in Worldcom when it was 30-40 bucks a share. Guess where that left those shares? In the freaking crapper.
