How are you supposed to meet people on Friendster?

I think having random people IM you is creepier..especially since it's easier to do it from multiple screen names.

I mean it's like the difference between someone calling you on the phone and coming up to your house.
 
From what i've heard, Friendster is meant for you to find your past connections. Either that, or just another way to meet online "girls"
