The program calculates an appropriate time between posts based on the assigned life elements of the poster in question. Currently the simulation speed is being throttled by the temporal linearity of your posting habits, but in the moments between system startup and observer attention it is able to run full speed. Any number of calculations can occur instantaneously, including the simulated posts that you are reading now. The dates are for your benefit only.

I can confirm this. My masters thesis was on the quantum entanglement and resulting spooky effect of internet forum posts, and computer down time.
