How are those DeskNote brand laptops?

How are those DeskNote brand laptops? They seem to be pretty cheap compared to bigger brand names, are they reliable and quality?

Other than being large and having terrible battery life they work just fine.

Actually I just checked some specs and the don't even seem to be that heavy anymore.

The difference between a notebook and this desknote cannot be easily detected at a glance, but there a few huge differences between the two:

No Battery
Desktop standard CPU
Desktop standard Memory

Why is it even called a laptop lol. You can buy external battries for it, but thats pathetic.

They're designed as "desktop replacements" for people who go from A to B and don't use laptops much between.

Bit of a niche market. But if they stuck a gF4 Go or Radeon 9000 in there, they'd be nice LAN machines.

Specs aren't that impressive, external battery, not sure about it's build quality/reliability/weight/heat issues, I couldn't stop laughing so I had to close the window.

It'd be cool for someone like me, though. I could live with an external battery.

I think I've used my laptop on battery power only twice this year. And, both of those times I could have plugged it in.
