No friggin way, the westinghouse will be $200?

That being said, I don't know how they are for games, but with a response time of 5ms (WH) and 2ms (SS), you should be fine.

Westinghouse are the cheaper line, but really it looks like all that translates to on that display is a large area around the screen. For that price it can't be beat.

Westinghouse is pretty well known. You can check over at AVSforum if you want to look.

They're quite popular for their LCD TVs... like their 37" models for example.

You might want to make sure the displays don't use 6-bit color and emulate the full 8-bit color that we normally use. (That's six and eight bits for each color, eighteen or 24bits total). Also, they say certain kinds for LCDs work better than others, even when one has 16ms response time compared to 8ms. I really don't know, that's just what I picked up browsing through the video section last week.

how is the build quality of this Westinghouse LCD , BB will be selling these for $199 on Black Friday, I pretty serious about getting one or the samsung 19" lcd but I just haven't seen much in the way of reviews or comments from gamers .

Will I see lots of pixel on 22" vs 19"ws, I have 6600gt card which should be ok for either monitors.

I personally have a Samsung 940BW and love it. I picked it up from Best Buy a while back for $160, not sure what it is now, but I am VERY pleased with it.

I"m in the same position. I'm pretty convinced on the 22" now, but i'm still having a hard time justifying paying an extra $70 for it compared to the samsung 931bw.

You will lose some vertical, yes...A 19" WS is basically the same height as a 17" non-WS... but it's a widescreen ;)...

You'll LOSE no more than a half inch if you go to a 19" WS from a 17" non-WS...It's going from 19" non-WS to 19" WS that you will notice a vertical space loss...
