Good job. I never had good grades in school. Maybe I should have done the work.

I'm in high school, a 4.7 GPA with all A's... Well this six week grading period I am getting my first B ever (actually its a B+...). And its in Spanish III! I hate Spanish! Does this sort of thing reflect badly later on in life (applying to colleges, etc.?) Hey its a weighted B if that matters...

!@#$%

EDIT: But it still takes me off the high honor roll!

Do you guys have every class weighted or something? All my classes are on a 4.0 scale with the exception of AP Classes which are a 5.0 scale.

4.(anything) That's crazy. You guys must have done homework or something...

don't worry hubbs, I used to get a few A-'s back in jr. high too. Don't let it get ya down. Also, the standard for class gpa is out of a 4.0 scale. When I was in highschool we had a weighted system too for establishing class rank, but comparing gpa's on a nonstandard scale doesn't make any sense. :)

we could never get anything higher than a 4.0, even on AP classes. My GPA was 3.99 cuz i missed the A in english by 1 point. It should have been an A except the bitch teacher screwed me. It's like she didn't even count one of my essays. I complained, but ofcourse nothing happened because she's a well respected (translation: old) teacher and i'm a student. High school politics is bullsh|t. I hate it.

Stealth: that B/B+ (whatever it is) in spanish will hardly make any difference when applying to college. Unless the admissions place is REALLY (and i mean like nazi sh|t) competitive, it *might* matter, but otherwise, no. don't worry about it. i used to be the same way, but i realized high school doesn't mean jack. Your overall gpa, sat, and extracurricular activities are what matter. one B is not gonna do anything.

Letter grading is so stupid. You should be graded in %, it is much more accurate, and you can actually defend the mark.

I also get a full 1+ GPA boost for the AP and the Analysis classes, and a .5 GPA boost for each of the other class

:D
