How are the Yokohama Avid Touring tires?

I drive a '95 Geo Prizm in Nebraska, so good snow traction is important to me. Right now I have the Kelly tires that the dealership put on my car when I bought it used. They lost their effectiveness fairly quickly so I'm looking for something better.

In November 2001 (most recent study I could find at the library) Consumer Reports liked the Yokohama Avid Touring and BFGoodrich Control T/A M65.

Tirerack comparison

The Yokohama's look better to me all around. Is there anything better I should look at?

Does it work now?

Also, I haven't called the local places yet, but if they charge more do you think any of them will match Tire Rack's price? Sears maybe? They seem to be pretty good about pricematching.

bump, I think the link still doesn't work, but I don't know how to make it work, so deal with it.

I put a set on my minivan a few months back. I'm very happy with the traction in snow/ice thus far

I know 3 or 4 people who have Avid H4's on their cars.. they are junk.. my friends car is the exact same as mine, and virtually the only differnce is in our tires, his car has less traction in a straight line, AND around corners, versus my Bridgestone Potenza's.. also the H4's have GARBAGE traction in the wet. but I only have experience with the H4's.. other than that, I have heard good things about Yokohama!
