I just want to know so i don't walk back in the wrong direction. I had the cards in 9x but didn't have my 2k station up till now.

I have had no serious issues with the Win2k drivers with my AIW Radeon(haven't had to hack various driver sets together to get all the features to work since the 3102's came out, LOL) I'm using the latest unsupported betas now, however, I've seen little difference in the last several driver sets. I would rate Win2k performance as excellent.

you will not suffer any performance decrease from going from win98 to win2k with kyro...
that can't be said for radeon... not even geforce...

Take a look at this Windows 2000 versus Windows 98 comparison at the bottom of this page http://www.aceshardware.com/Spades/read.php?article_id=40000187

That page is from the aceshardware budget vid card roundup 2001 which includes the Radeon, Kyro 1, Kyro II, Geforce DDR, Geforce 2 MX and Geforce 2 GTS. As you can see that shows that the Radeon is 15% slower in Win2k then it is in Win98, the Geforce cards are between 1-3% slower in Win2k then in Win98 and the Kyro 1 and II are exactly the same speed in both Win98 and Win2k

15% ? Better than the 30-40% a few months ago. Yay.

They've been getting better and better, and I have no complaints at all with my radeon LE
