How are the Win2000 ATi TV-Wonder drivers?

I understand ATi has gone full release on the Win2k side, anyone know how well these drivers work. I had the displeasure to use the beta drivers, and was one reason I was turned off of Win2k.

I've been thinking of giving Win2000 another shot, and was just wondering how the TV-Wonder drivers have been before I waste my time 😉

come on someone must use a TV-Wonder and a Win2k.

I know I was among a gaggle of bitchers over the poor attempt at a Beta driver set 😉

I have an AIW radeon. I'm sure it uses the same w2k tv drivers. Anways. they work great. I like it much better than my wintv

okok, don't call yourself a bitcher 🙂, I wanted to try this out too for a long time but never got the chance. I will try it out tomorrow and tell you the result.

The latest drivers are still beta. No official release yet. I've been using it with DX8 without any problems. If you have a SBLive make sure you install its latest drivers as well. The beta version is not compatible with the Win2K's default SBLive drivers and you may have some lockups.

Any update on this? I was planning on getting a tv tuner card (voodootv 200) but now w/ the end of 3dfx... the tv-wonder is my second choice. The problem is that I only run win2k (advanced server to be specific). If anyone has any comments about the drivers, please inform...

I used win2k beta drivers for rage fury pro and it sucks!!!!!! works fine in 98. I always crashed my system with "video in". and once it destryoed the registry. i resored it and the tried to uninstall it and it destroyed the registry again. I had to reinstall the os. So if its beta version.. pease don't run it. I haven't checked theisr website today. Did they come up with fianl version of win2k drivers for all these cards?

Can anyone confirm if ATI offcially launched win2k drivers for Rage fury pro or other drivers? Can't get into ATI website. Seems to be down.

On ATi's website they cite win2k support for the tv-wonder. I dont know if that means that they are out of beta or what but I imagine it does.

Nikepete is correct, the SBLive drivers from MS will mess up the TV Wonder from working. Still in beta, the MMC 7.1 drivers work great, except for possible TV-capture problems, with both Win2000 & WinME. You must have completely up-to-date sound card & display card drivers, however. The Gemstar Plus "TV Guide" add-on program also works fine.

I never had a problem with the old set of Sblive win2k drivers and MMC 7.1 I use to have it lock up on the video portion untill I installed MS DX 8 and evertyhing runs fine now excecpt for the video capture.
