How are the Michelin X-Ice winter tires?

Has anyone had any experience with these tires? TireRack doesn't have any info on these tires.

I need new tires, winter is just around the corner and there currently on sale.

Thanks for any input.

Edit: I drive about 600miles a week, to and from work.

Michelin makes excellent summer tires...their winter tires are suck big time.
Get a set of Blizzaks..you won't regret it. They are the best selling winter tire in Quebec.

Michelin are a rip off IMO. I usually just go to tire rack and look at the few top rated tires on their site.

If they are anything like my Artic Alpins, then they will be just fine. Way better than those crappy Blizzaks.

Of course if you want a *REAL* snow tire, then there is only one choice: studded, baby. Oh yeah!

Yeah man. And the best of them all are Gislaved or Nokian.
