Hey Guys,
I seem to have had a decent string of good luck in the last 1-2 years with getting good chips. I just wanted to see if anyone else with same chips can weigh in and compare.
With my 1090T BE, I am getting 4.2GHz (21 x 200MHz) with CPU-NB @ 2800 Rock Stable at 1.45v vcore and 1.22v CPU-NB. I could probably push it higher but my max temps get too high. With this level here, my Coolit Eco keeps me at 55 Celcius Max after 4 hours of OCCT, and idles around 29. I am wondering how much higher I could go with better CPU cooler and more voltage. (or am I getting near max 24/7 voltage levels?) I am getting about a 32% OC with this chip on all 6 cores
With my Phenom II X2 560 BE, I am getting 4.0GHz (20 x 200 MHz) with CPU-NB @ 2800 Rock Stable at just 1.415v vcore and 1.21 CPU-NB with one core unlocked, making 3 cores rather than two run at 4.0GHz. (Cores 1, 2, 4 active). When I enable Core #3, I can't even boot into windows at all, no matter what I do. I am currently using the 1090T stock Heatpipe HSF on this CPU and it works wonderfully at 4.0GHz. Max Temp is 56 Celcius after 4 hours of OCCT, and idles at 34 Celcius using the 1090T HSF. I am confident this CPU could go higher if I could somehow get better CPU cooling in the case, but its next to impossible since there are only small case fan slots available (60mm slots). I was disapointed when I first bought this chip as I was hoping for a lucky unlocked quad. I did get a triple that hits 4.0GHz, so I have to be happy. I am getting a 21% OC plus 1 extra core unlocked with this chip.
I RUN BOTH OF THESE 24/7 AT THESE SETTINGS. The 1090T is a gaming rig, the 2nd PC is a HTPC and Light Gaming Rig at 1366*768 only on a 50" TV
How do my Chips compare to yours?
My 405e by the way will unlock to a X4 and run at 3.0GHz no problem, but since that chip is ONLY used for light HTPC duties, I don't bother.
My i7 950 is in my Office PC and is stock.
I have never attempted to O/C my Athlon II 250 since its being used in my mother in laws room, who lives with us upstairs. Its something I put together for her with spare parts basically.
