How are Motul Engine oils

The Day Dreamer

I have been using Castrol for some time and I am not really impressed by the reliabilty of it. Someone recommend to try Motul engin oil.

I shortlisted Motul 300V oil. Is it really good?

Thanks in advance. 😀

Edit- Will use it for 125 CC bike

And the sound means what exactly? The sound of the valve train is probably the loudest noise on my bike while it's idling. It's also completely normal and this thing makes nearly 200hp.

You don't want 300v either, you'd want the 5100 or 7100. The 300v is aimed at high performance with frequent oil changes.

I guess 5100 would do the job? Mine is 5 gears 125 CC bike. Will it be good with it?

Either 5100 or 7100. Which ever one is less expensive is what I'd go with. You'd never be able to tell the difference. And I'd stop worrying about engine noise unless it's a knocking or tapping sound that sounds really really bad. It's not a car engine, you're riding the thing not hiding it in a bay with a bunch of sound deadening. 😛

Should be fine.
Castrol is junk. Only oil I ever had break down in my jet boat. Didn't last 10 hours.

Motul is great for motorcycles I hear. I actually swore by Rotella full-synthetic on my sportbikes, that is when I used to ride.
