How are motion captures "measured" compared to pictures for example which are measured in pixels?
Is it polygons, pixels, joints, ...?

Errrrr???? LOL

Even "motion" is made up of frames.

Each frame has a pixel count.

So.. the answer is A) pixels.

motion captures capture the skelleton-movements of CGI characters.
I highly doubt that you measure their quality in pixels since they are
a) 3-D
b) vector based

picture = function(pixel)

so,

motion picture = function(motion pixel)

WTH is a motion pixel? It's a dancing pixel.
