How are mice handled at your workplace?

We don't have mice in our facilities. However, we do occasionally have to deal with rats. The methods that we use to deal with rats are classified. With that in mind, we like to consider ourselves a environmentally friendly waste managment company. We pride ourselves with using a lot of green disposable methods for our "waste". Because of that, we can assure you that we are doing our part to help make the world a better place.

We have traps in a few critical areas of the building as a precaution. The cable vault being the most likely and most critical place. All those ~1 foot thick cables have thousands of phone/data/fiber lines in them and are headed for the streets. A single mouse that is in search of the not so chewy copper center would wreck havoc in there and lot of people's phones would stop working. If they hit fiber it could even take out the entire region.

We just buy cats from the local pet shelter. Keeps the cats from being euthanized at least.
