How are cordless keyboard/mice for gaming these days?

Looking to get the Logitech LX 700 combo, but I remember years ago that these were not good options for gaming like Desert Combat and Starcraft.

Have they improved?

The Logitech MX1000 laser mouse it fine. A keyboard is not as critical, IMO. I think this is the best mouse ever and I have had about all of them.

Agreed. The MX1000 is awesome for 720p living room gaming.

Cordless technology has progressed greatly. Logitech's cordless technology is just as fast as a PS/2 connection. I own the MX combo, and it's spectacular, I haven't had any issues with it.
