How are Athena Speakers ?

I bought 4 bookshelfs for my fronts and rears and their center channel for the center. I am happy with them.

4 AS-B1 and 1 AS-C1

I use AS-B1's for my computer speakers and also to listen to
records .. they're great.

I actually like them better than the huge 70's Sansui speakers I replaced
with the Athenas ... The Sansui's were jsut too big so I ebayed them
(highly sought after vintage speaker) ...

I have Axioms on my main home theater setup in the living room..
Those are just a tad better than the Athenas, but more expensive.

They're really solid for there pricerange, the bottom of the line Athena speakers are considered to be the cheapest bookshelf speakers that are actually listenable. I like the sound of Paradigm myself, I bought a pair of Paradigm Titan bookshelves to use as computer speakers and I love 'em.

I have the AS-F2 as fronts, the AS-F1 as rears, and the center channel.

they sound amazing. I highly recommend them.

check out audioreview.com you'll find nothing but glowing reviews about athenas
