Many of the geek sites give them high marks and I've only seen one negative comment on them. Too soon for a solid consensus to form as they've only been on the market here for under a year. They do seem to be very high value. I'm seriously considering the one with the KT880 chipset for my next purchase (among the few KT880 mobos that power the CPU on 12V rail). If the Abit KW7 wasn't as close in price as it is, I probably would have already sprung - still dithering...

re the name. Asians generally don't do names well for the American market. And we don't for other contries either - GM tried to sell a car with the Nova name in some latin countries where Nova could mean "no go" 

 and there are lots of similar examples.
