Back to the OP, who's comparing those two? AC/DC, INXS, Midnight Oil and Split Enz may all be Aussie rock, but they couldn't be more different.

AC/DC are gods of pure rock, but INXS did great soulful rock/pop. The world is a better place for the existence of both "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Never Tear Us Apart."
