How accurate is the CPU temperature reading on the EpoX 8K3A?

I am getting an idle temp of 125 on an Athlon XP 2100+ and Taisol 7620092 heatsink (and Arctic Silver III). When I power down the system and touch the heatsink, it feels only slightly warmer than room temperature, I would find it hard to believe if the heatsink was over 100 degrees.

Is the temperature reading on this motherboard accurate or is it known to report odd temperatures?

I think I solved my problem.

wiht the new bios, are your temps lower or higher?

Hmmm...temps are the same.

I just don't believe it is running that hot...

Look at Celsius not Fahrenheit dude
