How accurate is the BIOS heat monotoring program of the ABIT KT7A-RAID?

Is that fairly accurate of an idle temp? I have a FOP-32 and get around 40C on it. The system temp is 30C. Is that fairly accurate you think? I have a Enlight 7237 with 80mm intake fan in the front (stock) and 80mm rear exhaust fan. Thanks!

All socket A motherboards are not accurate. If you need a good read, simply click the link in my sig.

I should also mention its a 1.2ghz tbird! Thanks for the link, should I get MOBO monitor to monitor my temps? Does it mess with any settings or anything? Thanks again!

Motherboard monitor does not change any settings. If you do get MBM, get the latest version 5.1. Normal temperatures for a Tbird is around 40-50C using the SocketA Thermister reading. However, you cannot accurately see the exact temperature or when the CPU overheats(takes only a second to crash the comp). Since the thermister is located in the socket, below the CPU, its heatpathway would not immediately tell you the temperature of the CPU core the moment it overheats.
