How accurate is Sandra?

OC Duron 700@770 w/o any extravagent cooling. Sandra reports that my CPU core temp is 28C but the VIA Hardware Monitor [abit KT7-raid board] says my cpu temp is 44C. Which one do I believe?

It goes like this:

Board temperature: Sandra take this reading from a source that doesn't exist! Ignore it.
Cpu temperature: It's really the motherboard temp.
Power/aux temperature: This is the cpu temp.

Note: The temps are not only switched around, they are also somewhat inaccurate. I suggest you use motherboard monitor instead.

I am running MBM, that's where I got the higher temp. I have since bumped it up to 900 [tems were too high (47idle) for me] so I bumped it down to 850 idle temps of about the same. I did add another fan I had [took out of an old PSU] but was wondering if I should be getting a new hs/fan combo to keep it a bit cooler. On crack, temps are 48 steady w/MBM. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
