How accurate is IBM with their ship dates?

Ordered the 2379-DJU while it was listed as 'Within 2 Weeks' availability.... Got a estimated ship date of 5/11 though...

Are these dates usually accurate?
 
Hmmmm, IBM.com shows the 2379-DJU in stock now.... Hopefully they will ship me one early 😀
 
Well I ordered my Thinkpad T41p on 4/21/04 and it just shipped today. Should be here Wednesday. Previously had an estimated ship by 5/7/04 date.
