I have been using the opteron 1352 for about 6 months now, and have found it to be the best value in Quad Core CPUs around, bar none (Newegg has been selling the 1354 OEM for about $75 for a while now). I have tested it successfully in three AM2+ motherboards, and I felt that with Anandtech's resources, a thorough test and survey amongst potential Motherboards could be most usefull. It is a bit of a maverick, as the only AM2+ Opteron, and as such has been hiding in the bushes, so to speak, since most people associate the opteron with Socket F.

I didn't even know about that AM2+ Opteron. Interesting... I was looking for a quad core, anyway, so I might just purchase one.
I support your suggestion. Hopefully DerekWilson or another AT staff member can take it into consideration.
