How About PM's Being More Like Email?

At least in one respect....

I often check AT from work and sometimes there will be a PM that I don't have time to respond to right then, but once checked, it goes away from being a "New" message and I have to remember to check it when I get home... which I typically forget.

How hard would it be to have a PM option to "Keep As New" or "Mark As Unread" so that you still have an indicator of messages that you want to see/take care of.

Hard to impliment? Reasons it wouldn't be a good idea? Furture feature! 🙂

Sounds like a good idea although I am an old man and have no trouble remembering to check when I get home. 🙂
Also, you might have better luck with this if you post it here.

When you receive a new PM click on the x new messages(s) button. Now instead of clicking on the read button, click view history. This way you can read the PM, but it is not marked as read.

I just sent a PM to myself and tried that. It didn't work. Maybe because I sent the PM?

Since I read PMs though the history page (mainly because I get thread subscription updates through PM rather than email because my ISP is sporadically unstable on their email server), I discovered that long ago. To me it is more of an annoyance than a useful feature, but it's nothing that terrible. Perhaps it would actually be useful for Netopia? 🙂
