How about nose hair trimmers

Get one with this sort of head. You'll still need to be careful but cutting yourself is much more difficult. You mainly have to be careful where there are very sharp folds of skin that fit in between the gaps in the blade guard.

I get the feeling you're not talking about the inside of your nose.

I got a Wahl from Fry's for $3. Works great.

Tweezers.

Once a month or so I denude my nostrils (and any of those pesky ear hairs. I don't have many yet). Takes maybe 15-20 minutes, but requires less frequent maintenance than trimming. Very slightly painful, but you quickly get used to it. What you don't want to do is remove the very finest hairs. I've made that mistake before and when your nostrils are totally bare, any little thing, like one little unseen hair, will be felt and will drive you crazy.

Yeah but that can cause ingrown hairs, which are really painful in your nose.

I use rounded tiny scissors. Thought about getting an electric trimmer but didn't really want another gadget.

Americans spend more money every year on electric nose hair trimmers than they do on sheltering the homeless. If Americans would just rip out the hairs by the roots we could also root out the homeless problem with the money saved.

^^ I just made this up but this is the internet so now it's true.
