No, there are very few "home improvement" threads anyway so it doesn't need it's own subforum. We don't need to keep adding subforums until the threads for such start to overrun the other areas, and I don't see that happening in OT anytime soon.

Judging from the posts I see in ATOT, we really need the following forums:

A cooking forum, or perhaps just a forum devoted to bacon and steak
A guns forum
A sports forum
A Movies/TV forum
A jobs forum
A celebrity gossip forum
Another Politics and News forum, because the existing one sucks so bad that people still post news in ATOT.

A guns forum
A sports forum
A Movies/TV forum
A jobs forum
A celebrity gossip forum
Another Politics and News forum, because the existing one sucks so bad that people still post news in ATOT.

And then just get rid of OT, because there'd be nothing left.
