How about a final ranking for those who reach 10k+ posts???

We now have a few people reached the big 10k postings. How about giving these people a special member-status???. Ofcourse nothing like elite, but rather a ranking which we have to say okey for (To avoid nef's)?. No matter what you must agree they do something to this forum. I personally don't believe a member would be on that much if nobody liked them.

What do you say??.

And what should the member-status be called??. I was thinking about emperor-member. Not that they rule anything but it gives a sense of a status that is not easy to optain.

There would have to be something beyond "diamond".

This convention would probably increase the neffing posts. If you stop to consider, next year at this time, some members will be over 25,000 posts.

You may be right Apoppin but I don't think anyone would nef its way up to 10k+ and get away with it. The only reason I put the thread on was because of the status rating which goes from 1000 to 2000 and as a last to 3000 up from there nothing. And since a lot of you 'old guys have way beyond 3k posts I just thought of the 10k and yes perhaps a 25k or so . It's not that I think the status rating as it is is bad or something...Just wanted to hear others thoughts about it

I guess I'm just some foolish guy who thinks one of the critical advantages of the internet is that we are without our worldy status symbols. Anyone remember back a long time ago when there were just members? Crazy stuff man.

Well, AngelofDeath, some members have neffed their way to Diamond status. If new categories are created for 10k, 25K and 100K posts, it is just encouragement to try and reach these perceived goals. After all, it's human nature.

BTW, Paulson, I assume you are just kidding when you say "10,000 is enough for me". You don't plan to stop posting, do you? If you continue at your current rate, you will have around 25,000 posts at this time next year!

Maybe to satisfy everyone, we should continue to have "Diamond Members" with the added footnotes "5K club", 10K club", etc..
